I loathe people like this, the ones who think every other country on Earth is a third or fourth world shithole and America is some kind of utopian paradise. Newsflash: It isn’t. Most of Europe has a standard of living much, higher than America’s. Same with economic, political freedoms.
I mean, we’re a country that forbids people from marrying or in some cases, adoption, if they don’t have the “correct” sexual orientation. We’re a country that will let people die of preventable diseases because the idea of letting the government cover medical bills is anathema some of us. We’re a country where one political party has essentially ground the government to a halt because of some twisted idea that it will prevent an incumbent president from being reelected. We’re a country where those brave enough to stand up against the corruption and bullshit, who are willing to exercise their natural born right to protest, are ridiculed, admonished, slurred, slandered, libeled, and condemned by the rich and people too busy with their heads buried in the sand to see how they’re being fucked over.
No, the United States is not the greatest country on Earth. At this point, it’s questionable if we’re even a good one.
There are so many things wrong with everything this girl is saying, it makes me genuinely sad she is part of America’s future.
Also, I’m pretty sure colleges don’t ban you from doing Engineering if you have a vagina. I’m just surprised someone so ignorant to the rest of the world is able to do engineering.
If she’s so privileged, she needs to go out and buy a decent camera so I don’t have to fucking squint when I try read her shit.
